Some of the incarnate spells are thematically cool, but mechanically a little lacking. They would look great on the big screen, but don't do much damage for the level you get them at. Battleform spells are cool but lock you out of your class abilities as a caster. Fun if you want to Duke it out with a giant boss creature until your spells are inevitably needed again. But i was wondering if there is any actually mechanical reason other than maybe saving on a wizard feat to use spell delivery instead of reach spell? You have to see or otherwise sense your target.
