Though the stand-alone patches are now essentially obsolete and have been removed from most download sites , they can be used in a case of running just the original base game, or the base game plus one DLC but not the other. Losse, why the heck would one remove the unofficial patch from the start?! I don't use mods but the patches still managed to mess up Skyrim and create new bugs that never were there before.
