I have also employed the 'repair registry' option both via steam utilities and Windows 10 as well as purging steam download history in an attempt to rectify this problem for myself as repeated appeals for assistance via the appropriate Vortex Discord channel and other venues produced no helpful results. I am now finding that as of recently when I unzip the Data folder for SKSE 64 Script Extender and re-name it 'Skyrim SE 64 Scripts' then drag it to the 'drop files to attach' window on Vortex, the file somehow becomes re-named and appears as 'hhh' in the mods list by means of some process I do not comprehend. I also don't know what youtube instructions you refer to, nor is that relevant. Finally: This is for feedback about Vortex issues or suggestions, your problem doesn't seem to be related to Vortex at all.
