Benkongerike is a snowy cave north-east in the north of Solstheim , it is located between Saering's Watch and Headwaters of Harstrad. On a pedestal the Benkongerike Key can be found. There is a pillar puzzle to open the door which leads to one of the word walls for the Cyclone shout. To solve the puzzle, look above the pillars for the correct glyph and rotate the pillars until the glyphs match. This is shown for three of the four pillars. For the second pillar from the left , there is no glyph shown above.

Benkongerike is a medium-sized cave southeast of Saering's Watch and northwest of Headwaters of Harstrad containing bristlebacks and rieklings. From the Headwaters of Harstrad, follow the path to the northwest, and when you reach a junction, turn left to the southwest. You eventually pass under an arch consisting of two columns with a large slab on top. On your right is a statue with unusable barrels and crates. There is a food barrel to the right of the entrance, and a novice-locked chest to the left. As soon as you enter, you will be in a snowy tunnel descending to the northwest. As soon as the passage levels out, there is a narrow tunnel on your right that twists and turns and eventually leads to a novice-locked chest and two burial urns. There is also a hidden door next to the chest that will act as a shortcut back from the end of this cave system. At the end of the initial tunnel is a riekling tent with a deer pelt inside and a piece of firewood to the left. A tunnel on the left leads into a large cavern. In the cavern, you can see three large pillars all leaning over , a nearby riekling camp consisting of two riekling huts and a riekling tent, and various crates, barrels, and sacks all around the room below you. Two more riekling tents can be seen in the distance. There are three rieklings running about that you can see. The path down is on your right, and follows the wall around the cavern to place you beside a riekling hut to your right. A tent to your left contains a bottle of alto wine.

Just past these urns is another hut to the right. There is an open iron door on your right skyrim benkongerike east.

Benkongerike is a large system of ice caves, located northeast of Castle Karstaag , along the white northern shores of the Moesring Mountains region. Benkongerike houses roughly a half-dozen Rieklings and their Tusked Bristleback mounts, who take shelter in the caves when not in nearby Castle Karstaag. Benkongerike is also the abode of the headstrong Fryssa , a former member of an unspecified Mages Guild somewhere in Tamriel presumably Morrowind who was expelled for an unspecified reason, and up until the time of her death still held a grudge over it. Following her death see Fryssa , Whitewalker , you can choose to take the final creation of Fryssa, Whitewalker, as well as her journal. The cave is divided into three levels; the upper level where the entrance and Fryssa are located, the middle level where a few Rieklings and a very small storage room are located and finally, the lower level where a few more Rieklings are strolling around another small storage area. There are five chapters: Chapter I is basically a corridor that leads to Chapter II, containing no enemies and only three soul gems in the way of loot. These can be found at the very end of the chapter, at the final bend just before the book that leads to Chapter II. There is a leveled lurker to battle before reaching either exit. The lurker is standing near a Font of Stamina and a Font of Magicka. The exit to Chapter IV can be found by taking the corridor south and then west; whereas the exit for Chapter III is taking the corridor north. Chapter III contains a seeker , a spell tome and a container of loot. These are all in the same enclosed starting area, so that the Seeker will attack you just as you enter the Chapter; the spell tome is in the beginning area as well. Chapter IV contains the most loot including four stealth based skill books , two soul gems and four containers of loot as well as three seekers to battle.

You will enter this cavern on a ledge, with bridges ahead joining several platforms, ledges, and columns, and a ramp down to the cavern floor below on the left. Explore Benkongerike and recover the Black Book. The symbols needed are above the rune totems, except for the second, which is on the eastern balcony.
