Silver Creek Plunge is a privately owned hot springs resort, uniquely located inside of the Boise National Forest. Whether you are longing for a soak or a family vacation in rural Idaho, there are countless activities to entertain the whole family, or simply, relax your days away. The resort is surrounded by mountains, wildlife, campgrounds, and the beautiful Silver Creek. There are activities year-round such as fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming, and during the winter, riding snowmobiles. Silver Creek Plunge offers an uncovered, geothermal hot spring located within a quarter-mile of the campground. This large pool, able to fit many guests, holds over , gallons of water and flows at a rate of gallons per minute. Two types of camping are available at Silver Creek Plunge Resort. Sites can be reserved through the Forest Service or at their private campground. Private campsite fees are minimal for tent, trailer, or RV rentals. There are also a variety of cabins that guests can reserve, offering one to two beds with gas stoves and cold running water. Most cabins have outside restrooms and no shower facilities. Pets are welcome for a nominal fee, but must be kept on a leash and away from the pool area. There is also a convenience store and snack bar on site. While visiting, add a few days to explore the Boise National Forest and the bustling city of Boise to round out your trip. The downtown area boasts a myriad of shops, bars as well as seasonal outdoor activities.
