Get Fuzzy is an American gag-a-day comic strip written and drawn by Darby Conley. While there have been no new comics produced sinceseattle times comics, the reruns continue to appear in newspapers. The strip's humor comes from the conflict between Bucky's and Satchel's personalities, which are extreme stereotypes of cats and dogs. Rob, the middleman, is seattle times comics frazzled from dealing with cashify, or more specifically, from dealing with Bucky's destructive nature and overall nastiness.

A few years ago, when The Seattle Times was relocating from its old building on Fairview Avenue North and John Street, a pile of old editorial cartoons landed in my new Denny Way office. The artist, Sam Groff, who worked for The Seattle Times from to around , left a trove of cartoons that now serve as a window into those times. The cartoon that really got my attention was of a Christmas tree, where Groff was imagining what several prominent Seattle coaches and leaders from the s might want for Christmas. This Washington has benefited richly from the contributions of many people either through sustained public service or poignant actions that make us all better. Once again, The Seattle Times editorial board is celebrating real givers in our community — people who have improved our quality of life, or even just our mood — through generosity, commitment to public service, business or sporting accomplishments.

The show expanded to a three-day event in and began using the entire convention center for the first time in In , the Gaming portion of the show was moved to the third floor of the nearby Sheraton Seattle Hotel to make room for an expanded show floor. The convention features a wide array of activities and programming including industry guests, various discussion panels, celebrity signings and photo opportunities, prize drawings, and costume contests. It features a large and lively Exhibitor's hall with comics retailers from across the entire Pacific Northwest bringing a large stock of modern and vintage comics, as well as other products such as statues, action figures, models, etc. It was founded by comics retailer and comic book creator Jim Demonakos of Mukilteo, Washington , and broke even with an attendance of 3, people.
