There are two kinds of collectibles in nearly every Super Mario Odyssey kingdom: power moons and coins. Also, there are more than 52 moons here.
Super Mario Odyssey 's Seaside Kingdom, the ninth or tenth kingdom for Mario to visit depending on which map direction you choose first , is home to 71 Power Moons. The first 48 moons are available during your first visit to the beach and three more will pop up later on in the game. Finally, after defeating Bowser, you can unlock the final 19 Power Moons. Some of the moons are a breeze to collect. Others, not so much. If you thought defeating that thirsty, French squid boss was difficult, try getting your hands on these Power Moons.

Power Moons are collectible objects that are needed to power up the Odyssey to travel to new destinations. Upon completing the main story, gaining additional Power Moons will allow you to unlock new Kingdoms and Costumes. Below you will find the list for every Power Moon in Seaside Kingdom. Please note that when first entering a Kingdom, there will be some Power Moons that are not currently obtainable, even if their number is listed. Certain Power Moons can only be obtained after completing all main objectives in a Kingdom - and even more will only appear after the main story is complete. There are 51 Power Moons to find until you reach the end-game, with one involving Peach and then some more. Located on the pillar north of where you begin by the Odyssey. Good Dog! Head to the Lighthouse, then continue to the northeast to the well that leads back underneath the Lighthouse — this is the tunnel you passed through on the way to get moon 2. Make your way to the end of the platforms, hit the blocks, and get the Power Moon before time runs out. Finally, after defeating Bowser, you can unlock the final 19 Power Moons. There are five power moon pieces to collect for power moon 71, and power moon 72 is hidden in the northeast corner. It will take a while, but the Power Moon will be yours if you strategize.
