Looking to get rid of pull cord and replacing with dedicated switch but would like to know if switches can be installed in each room leading into the shower as per two way lights etc Other issue would be to treat possible cause of cable melt but viewing forum, cable melt appears to be reoccurring issue whether it be down to installation all my shower switches installed by qualified electricians or it may be poor quality switches Have tried Crabtree CED LAP 45A and 50A pull cords May be silly question but would appreciate your views. Whats currently best one going with good solid terminal auality material and terminal set up. Had to change one today , screwfix didnt have lap or bg in , only had MK. Which as awfull reviews besides it was an mk i took off as damaged. Are these M2 any good,? Powerelec , May 25, MK accessories are not the high reliable quality they used to be. We know the pain. But have you ever wondered why only your shower pull switch keeps breaking? Shower pull switches are designed to be turned off. If you always switch it on and off, it can damage the switch. Moreover, buying a poor quality switch can cause it to break. Other than this, a cramped wiring or a loose connection is to blame.
