I tested the Dragon X8 compound bow to discover what speed the Dragon X8 shoots arrows at the various draw lengths. I tested the change in draw weight that occurs as you change the draw length of the Dragon X8. All of this information is listed in the data chart provided below as well as in the downloadable PDF I provide a link for in the next paragraph. Included on this data chart is a picture of the draw force curve associated with the Dragon X8 compound bow. Also, if you are interested in ordering this bow, please use the link below. On the top left of the chart, in the green section, you will find some of the basic specifications for the Dragon X8. The ATA axle to axle length that I measured was just under 30 inches. The brace height distance from the handle to the string was six and a half inches.

Although priced at the entry level range of compound bows, make no mistake, the Dragon is far above entry level in its performance, quality, and overall finish. The Dragon has an aluminum riser with what I believe to be Gordon Glass limbs.

I find it funny when folks sputter an spit about the Chinese companies while typing on a computer that was not made in the USA and they drive a car or truck with a Bunch of parts made elsewhere. One bow offers the draw weight demands from entry-level to professional hunting requirements. The grip on the Dragon is comfortable and has the right thickness. Like many other hunting compounds at this price point, the Dragon only has 1 stabilizer mount. I have a Topoint target sight that is actually really nice. I was looking at hsrtimg something to replace a bear instinct. Like in other Sanlida bows, the machining and casting is clean and almost flawless. Just a solid feeling shot. AVS Forum.
