These look great with jeans or with slacks! There might be scars and marks on your vegetable tanned leather, which should not be seen as defects, but rather the result of leather being a living material. It felt really sturdy and I was surprised at how comfortable the shoes were. As a child I wanted a pair of clogs so badly, I would beg my mom everyday.
