Located on the northern coast of the beautiful island of Jamaica, Sandals Ochi Beach Resort is one of the top highly rated adult only all inclusive resorts. We stayed 1 week for our honeymoon with the Butler Service. Below I have written a full review on Sandals Ochi Beach for those thinking about booking a stay or honeymoon. Many many years ago I worked as a travel agent for First Choice. I remember a couple coming in to book their honeymoon not long after I started working there and that was when I first discovered Sandals Resorts. I opened up the brochure and was just as stunned by the beautiful imagery and dreamlike beaches, as my clients were. They went on to book two weeks in the Bahamas and I was so jealous. Sandals is a couple only resort, and at the time I was only 18, and years off having a honeymoon! Most of our past trips as a couple have been adventure driven and multicentered, so an opportunity to spend two weeks in luxury all-inclusive would be a rare treat for us. We had stayed at all-inclusive resorts before but after so many adventure style holidays we were a little apprehensive about booking a resort style holiday of this cost. We are relatively active travelers, who prefer to explore and do activities than sit around lounging by the pool.

There are lots of restaurants, bars, pools, whirlpools, and activities including an hole golf course overlooking the sea on the premises, and it's a five-minute drive to downtown Ocho Rios for more spots to shop and dine. Just know that the beach isn't large and the hotel is an hour-and-a-half ride from the airport on the resort's free shuttle bus; those who prefer less travel time may want to compare rates at the smaller Sandals Montego Bay , and those in search of a better beach may want to consider the Sandals Negril Beach Resort.

We have visited Sandals Ochi twice in the last 6 months and have visited every Sandals Resort and wanted to share this review to help you if you are considering booking a trip. Overall, Sandals Ochi is the largest and most affordable Sandals Resort which brings a lot of visitors its way. In between visits, the service noticeably improved, and some of the complaints we had heard the first time had been addressed. Both sides have a lobby; the main lobby on the Riviera Seaside is larger, with several levels of seating, a private lounge, and the Polo Lounge with views of the resort. The smaller lobby in the Great House is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Both lobbies are open and decorated in warm, neutral colors, with dark woods and brown leather furniture. Both sides have nearby entrances to resort shops with souvenirs and travel necessities.
