One would assume that if you have a copy of the original Xbox port you could probably play multiplayer through that since it may or may not be backwards compatible on the I can't really test this myself, my original Xbox disk just plain doesn't work anymore after a few scratches here and there, hence why I bought the game brand new for I'm running into my own problems unrelated to multiplayer though.
