Salem Kroger 4x4 conversion. Thread starter WanderOften Start date Feb 7, WanderOften Member. I'm looking for feedback on the Sprinter 4x4 conversions Salem Kroger is doing. In a perfect world I'd go with the factory conversion Upscale Auto is doing but the price is too hefty for my bank account. If so could you throw out some feedback on handling, reliability, stability and anything else that comes to mind. I'm hoping to convert my Sportsmobile camper next Fall.

If you are not aware, the S-K coil spring 4wd conversion uses F components transfer case, auto-locking hubs, complete front axle with brakes, axle locating arms. This has eliminated some service problems where dealers won't work on the front end because of the aftermarket parts. The F brakes are larger and require the use of 17" or 18" wheels.
