Welcome to Ruby Blues Winery. The winery opened as Ruby Tuesday Winery in and quickly became popular with visitors to the Naramata Bench as a funky, fun winery with fine wine, great rock and roll music in the vineyard and a wicked line of stiletto shoes for sale in the wine shop. About two years later we chose to change the name to Ruby Blues Winery to avoid confusion with the U. We took this opportunity to create a new winery sign on the Naramata Road using an old Volkswagen bus painted for us by local artist Glen Clark, who also did the murals on the winery. This was our first stop on our 3 days wine adventure and it was so good we went back again on day 3 to get more wine, tour the winery and vineyard more and just talk to the staff and owners. All of our wines are produced predominately from vineyards on the Naramata Bench where the terroir imparts that unique quality specific to our region. Everyone who works with the grapes at Ruby Blues is guided to speak to the vines with love and to ensure that music is played in the vineyard. We believe all living things deserve to be treated with love, including our vines. Our Commune Series of wines are made from grapes that we source from our own vineyards and from vineyards of friends and neighbours along the Naramata Bench. The grapes from these different origins are now brought together as wine in the bottle.
