While in real life Cacti and Bamboo technically aren't trees, in RimWorld they are included in this category. Growing or healthy trees are not subject to deterioration. Trees are natural food sources for Dendrovores like Alphabeavers and Thrumbos. Trees are different from other crops in that they require at least a one tile distance from other crops as well as each other, including wild trees. A large, distinctive-looking tree with a unique life-cycle. Each Gauranlen tree contains a small non-conscious dryad queen. The queen births creatures called dryads which guard and tend the tree.
