Not a big place, but very welcoming. All Covid precautions were taken and we were shown to out table. An extensive choice of drinks - especially ciders. Great arrangement! Had never visited Watchet before, let alone 'Pebbles' but we'll certainly be back. Just had a take-away meal from The Star Inn and it was amazing! Second meal we Onion rings were great, garlic bread side was a whole garlic baguette! Popped in for a quick lunch after being recommended by the lovely lady in the Visitor Centre.

The pub offers a warm welcome with well-kept beers, wines, spirits, and excellent pizzas with vegan and gluten-free options. They heated it up just as I wanted. Lovely friendly staff too. The food we had was excellent, I had a great steak and chips, and a beautiful fry up in the morning. The price was cheaper than others in the Minehead area. They are obviously not a 7 days a week destination for anyone interested in art. I am so chuffed with this beautiful cheese box that my colleagues organised for Secret Santa. Yummy food. It was empty.

A lot of places seem to shut in Watchet on a Sunday, so we have the take away a try. Was fine, but a bit underwhelming with flavour and portion size not quite there vs the prices. Maybe the restaurant is a bit better once no covid restrictions More.

Our last meal of our holiday and it was fabulous. I know they offer a takeaway service next door but when you want a seat or to get out of the cold for a hot drink what good is that. Same with the mains. Well worth a visit. Spanish restaurant. The scone was stodgy but tasted OK. Came across this fabulous dog friendly pub. Thank you very much. Parking is a few minutes walk away in a public carpark which is free after 6pm. They also have a good selection of home made cakes which we enjoyed afterwards. We really enjoyed our meal at the Spice Merchant.
