One of the joys of eating out in this region is the sheer sociability of the Andalucians. Family and friends, often with children in tow, start early with tapas and continue eating until well after midnight. Some of the best restaurants have grown from ventas and tapas bars serving food based on fresh produce and home cooking; all give excellent value for money. In the Estepona area there are many, many restaurants to choose from and there's something to suit all pockets. These are just a few of our favourites.

When we use words better or worse, it is practically impossible for us to do so in a completely objective way. It may be that what I am looking for is the quality of the dishes and on the other hand you prioritize the views, the cleanliness or the absence of noise call it children or drunken gangs. Taking this for granted and with a criterion based on the experience of 17 years living, eating and drinking in Estepona, I have elaborated the following list of restaurants. All of them are within the urban area of the town and the bill is around 30 or 40 euros per place, always taking into account that if you order a great wine or a Galician beef that they pamper from calves as if they were bourbons… you will pay dearly for it. Avenida Litoral Edificio Jacaranda, , Estepona. Puerto Deportivo 14, , Estepona. It is a wine bar restaurant with a modern and quality cuisine. Be careful with what you order because some dishes have gone overboard with the price and then the fine hurts. Calle Caridad 97, , Estepona.

I walked into this restaurant desperate for a table for 8 as our original booking did not serve paella although it stated it did. The food was delicious and service amazing. I would definitely visit Highly recommended. We had lunch after visiting the Sunday market. Our family of 5 found there was something for us all from bolognese to steak and the most perfect sea bass parcel It was like opening a present The owner is totally charming and you are treated with courteous service from the minute you arrive. We hope to return another year.

Beautifully situated by the Mediterranean Sea in a courtyard with greenery and heaters for the cooler nights. Never had Pinchos before for starters and they were delicious, but the Pedro Ximenez fillet steak was superb. Trust us, it works. All rights reserved. Virgen del Puerto, 7. We do come here often as the staff are very friendly and the service is great all the time. Un superbe accueil chaleureux. American cuisine - expect good Argentinian asados and Peruvian ceviches. The vegetarian lasagna was excellent, as was the shrimp pil pil. Wine bar. Thai restaurant. And they were awesome!!
What was once a sleepy little fishing port back in the sixties, has developed into one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Costa del Sol: Estepona and one of the best places to visit in Andalucia. Holidays in Estepona offer that little something for everyone — a fabulous choice of tapas bars and restaurants; long stretches of clean beaches on which to work up a tan; a rocking nightlife and, last but certainly not least, plenty of fun activities for the kiddos. This resort town has its own special charm to it with its polka-dotted flowerpots and stunning murals to be admired all around the urban center.
The food is an experience, not just another plate of Spanish food. The server was very hospitable and went above and beyond to seat us and make sure we had a great time whiteout the fake niceties. I received clean ones but my husband did not and had to ask again. The host was excellent as was the food and drink. They see that your plate is full and they come over and ask if you will eat again. Yeah, that's exactly why I go to Sur, to cook myself. I recommend you reserve a table. Eventually it came and the pizza was good, salmon and sea bass were good but my squid had issues. We were visiting Estepona and after researching what restaurant to visit, we decided on La Bulla Gastrobar. I recommend them with no hesitation. Definitely needs a reservation in advance. I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. Let's discuss it. Write to me in PM, we will communicate.
