A veces no es necesario hacer platos de vanguardia. El Thunnus alalunga , como otros pescados caballas, sardinas… bajo las escamas tiene una piel a la que se adhiere una importante capa de grasa. Cuando se quita la piel, la grasa -y sus famosos Omega- se van con ella. Para algo se trabaja con pescadores, agricultores, ganaderos…. Tampoco los coqueteos con Oriente acaban de convencer. Las sardinas -excelentes- pueden disfrutarse con o sin las texturas de soja con las que se sirven. No molestan, pero tampoco son imprescindibles. Sin embargo el bugre bogavante frito con yema de huevo -y unas patatas diminutas- es un plato de La textura es delicada y deliciosa, el sabor intenso del ave hace funcionar todos los resortes de la memoria. Se cocina junto con un guiso de setas.

The menu is extensive and varied, and the quality of food is above average for its price range. Really good food. The favada is not tasty enough to justify the high price. We had a very good dinner after coming back from the lakes. Great place. Other best of categories in Cangas de Onis. This place will not upset anybody. This is a local restaurant that was recommended to us by a friend that lives near Cangas. There are greater cachopos all around Asturias and Madrid. Very good and comfortable restaurante, food is great. Stay organized with a to-do list, packing list, shopping list, any kind of list. At first the staff seemed to be a bit tired of being alive, but I'm guessing it's a thing with the locals or something, because in the end they were very helpful and the food was 5 stars.
