Annihilation is the final boss of Remnant 2 and the Root corruption's source.

Annihilation is a Boss in Remnant 2. Annihilation is the final boss of the game, and provides a massive and long challenge to players. It can be found at the Blackened Citadel, in Root Earth. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies. They are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game. At the beginning, it flies around the battlefield, uses its massive sword-like weapon to deal damage. Annihilation also affects the battlefield, using many AOE attacks and creating energy beams that persist on the field, dealing damage if players come into contact with them.

Remnant 2 annihilation

After spending much Remnant 2's story campaign hunting down all three mysterious objects for Clementine and the Keeper, players will eventually find themselves squaring off against the avatar of the Root—a hulking, wooden dragon aptly named Annihilation. This monstrosity is the pinnacle of the game's challenges, and it can be very tough to beat the first time around. Annihilation is as deadly as it is intimidating. Its attacks are frantic, and many players may have trouble keeping up with its pace. Even on the lowest of Remnant 2's difficulties, this boss is still hard to beat. However, once players nail a few important parts of this boss' moveset down, then fighting it will become significantly easier. Understanding any boss' moveset is the key to beating them, and the same applies to this one. Annihilation may attack frantically, but its moves are actually very well-telegraphed. Repeat the fight enough times and players will eventually get the boss' attack timings down—the important thing here is to memorize its moves consciously instead of panicking. For reference's sake, here are the boss' attacks:. Annihilation slams its sword before stabbing it downward. This often chains up to three times total, with the final hit spawning energy orbs that seek players if not shot down. Annihilation slams the ground with its hand, causing waves of energy to cascade toward the player. Annihilation moves to one side of the arena and prepares to sweep the floor with its sword.

Annihilation leans backwards and then attacks from above with his sword. A clunky fix is to switch guns and use the mods on both guns, remnant 2 annihilation. Leave feedback.

You might have fought against a bunch of bosses in Remnant 2 , but there's nothing quite like Annihilation. After beating four areas and their bosses, you'll reach the Root Earth area that looks just like Earth, except it's deeply corrupted. At the end of this area, you'll battle Annihilation alongside Clementine. Annihilation is the only boss in the game that regenerates its health fully when you defeat it first. Moreover, if you're defeated during the second phase after it regenerates its health, you'll have to start the battle from the first phase all over again.

Annihilation is the final boss of Remnant 2 and the Root corruption's source. As the physical embodiment of the Root, Annihilation is the toughest boss fight you'll encounter in the game. Found at the end of Root Earth , this boss fight has three distinct phases—each starting after you deplete his health bar entirely. Annihilation will spawn from the hole in the center; however, he will fly in from the back of the arena after the first time. The following moves he will do after spawning will always have the same pattern every time, so try to remember the timing for its attacks, and you should be fine for the first half of its health.

Annihilation is the final boss of Remnant 2. He is found in the Blackened Citadel in Root Earth. The fight will often begin with a simple sword slam. This attack may be followed by the boss resting its sword on the ground for a moment, before rocketing towards you and flying into the air. Wait until he actually starts moving towards you, and then roll in his direction.

Tired of waking up in a trap or coming up to bat against the homing nukes on reload. Its attacks are frantic, and many players may have trouble keeping up with its pace. The second phase of this boss is just bizarre, so many times it switches between envs mid attack and you even lose track of the boss as well. During the second phase, Annihilation will recover all its health and even the battlefield will change into a futuristic landscape, with red neon colors. I struggled to destroy them in phase two in time since they took two shots each with a pure damage build. On the other hand, i could envision a situation where you have no healing from the boss, you are low with no regen or shield or lifesteal, and you just get chipped to death by the grunts and lose. Side note. After reading everyone complaining about this boss, I'm a bit disappointed. It's highly recommended to get rid of these pairs as soon as possible since Annihilation goes into a vulnerable state for a few seconds once you do it. I can see why people don't like it though since the fight can easily give you a stroke from all the visual noise, but I think its mechanically pretty solid. Much better than the final boss of RFTA. But if you built for melee damage? No idea why are people complaining when the boss only changes when its preparing the second part of the combo and when it changes back you have a second to know what attack its gonna use if you forgot the attack before it changed, if u cant dodge it, its a skill issue there is a very big leeway for the phase change.

I found this boss easier than most of the fog wall encounters in root earth Third Phase After the cutscene, you will notice that Annihilation hasn't got a health bar, and will summon minions to attack you. I love and hate the boss honestly. Annihilation also affects the battlefield, using many AOE attacks and creating energy beams that persist on the field, dealing damage if players come into contact with them Annihilation has a lot of attacks and flies constantly around the battlefield. Hey guys, you wanna fight two full-fledged bosses at once? The second phase of this boss is just bizarre, so many times it switches between envs mid attack and you even lose track of the boss as well. Annihilation attacks with his sword 2 times - starts from his right and then goes from his left. Biggest issue with the final boss tbh is that the ending kinda sucks, no spoilers but for a game with so many choices and alternate paths getting shoe horned into how it ends is kinda lame. First, you have to dodge the blade slam and then you'll hear another sword sound cue, and you have to dodge it again since the boss drags the blade to the corner. It makes this fight much easier as you can clearly hear each audio cue to dodge. Well, now you can, in phase 2! After beating four areas and their bosses, you'll reach the Root Earth area that looks just like Earth, except it's deeply corrupted. Perfect moment to either heal or score hits to weak spot. After taking enough damage, the battlefield will switch between the one on the first phase and the latter one, granting Annihilation an even wider moveset. Glitch Annihilation swaps between its first and second forms, throwing the player off-guard.
