How far did I get? Why did I stop? It was a decidedly 4-star read for me, and something shinier caught my eye while I was reading. Simple as that. Was I enjoying it initially? Yes, very much so. All tropes I love. Hawkins is a new-to-me author, and I liked her style. The story did get a little boring here and there, but I had no major issues with it. Would I finish this? Yeah, I would. Actually, putting this review together reminded me of the details, and it makes me want to dive in again. Who would I recommend this to?

I love my dirty talks in steamy rom-coms, we could even say I require it, reluctantly yours, buth there's a thin line between hot dirty talking and The King's Speech.

Be prepared to put everything aside as you will not be able to put the book down. This is an excellent novel for people who love to read because it has done an amazing job. The author expressed all the characters in a unique way that creates the impression that the reader is also part of the story and knows every detail of all the characters. This would truly be one of the most extraordinary novels. The author has shown great craftsmanship in the novel, this is extraordinary in every sense of the word, only the depth of this book is spectacular, not to mention the diversity and representation and quality of the writing and complex characters. Everything is simply outstanding. The author has shown the same level of skill in previous books.
