Still a newbie here What or when would I use the regional rate A or B boxes? I see they have the boxes available thru the USPS, but haven't seen an option for those when figuring out shipping, regional ebay.

Does anyone have any info. USPS is discontinuing Regional rates on Sunday January 22, and eBay has apparently decided to stop offering this postage ahead of schedule. USPS "dimensional weight" only applies to packages with a volume over 1 cubic foot cubic inches , so that's not a worry for anything that could fit into a Regional A box, which has a volume of merely cubic inches. Or were you meaning to refer to Cubic rates? You can still use up and even order your Regional A boxes for Cubic rates. Hopefully this is an option for you. This impacts a lot of people with heavier items shipping form coast to coast however a big help would be USPS Cubic. Pirateship has it available but will Ebay add it???? I really hope so. And the ground cubic prices they started in July on pirate ship are even better rates than the cubic Priority and you can do up to a 12" by 12" by 12" Box. I haven't actually found that the regional Boxes are ever cheaper than the cubic rates on pirate ship. Ebay would absolutely kill it if they offered cubic rates I'm curious why they don't or can't. Since I ship a lot of packages it is a pain and so time consuming to have to bounce back and forth from ebay to pirate to figure out what's the cheapest rate so I really hope they offer it as a shipping option.
