The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann , lead guitarist Richard Kruspe , rhythm guitarist Paul Landers , bassist Oliver Riedel , drummer Christoph Schneider , and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz —has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. The lead single, " Sonne ", reached No. Rammstein released Reise, Reise in and had two more singles reach No. Their fifth album, Rosenrot , was released in , and the lead single, " Benzin ", reached No.

A friend who has followed Rammstein since their days of performing to a crowd of two Hell's Angels and a Rottweiler complained that the German death-metal sextet aren't what they used to be. Apparently, their three Brixton shows - their biggest London gigs to date, shifting 15, tickets - were "toned down". Having seen the hellfire-and-damnation extravaganza on its second night, however, I can attest that even a half-strength Rammstein are several bassoons short of an orchestra. The music, which is the sort of transglobal earache produced by black-robed misanthropes from Berlin to Boston, is just a pretext that lets our boys have a wheeze with guitars. Despite the occasional swinging tune - such as Amerika, notable as both their only English-language number and the only one that doesn't sound like the gates of hell clanking open - the real meat of the performance is the visuals.

It was released as the fourth and final single from their fourth studio album, Reise, Reise , on 28 February in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as a maxi-single, a limited edition digipak single, a 7" vinyl single, a 12" vinyl single, and as a two-track. The "Keine Lust" music video was filmed in January and premiered a month later. It depicts a reunion between Rammstein, whose members are visibly aged and morbidly obese, and their instruments are old and dusty. They arrive at an underground parking garage in luxurious white cars a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Cadillac Calais, Mercedes-Benz , Mercedes-Benz S-Class limo and a Bentley S1 driven by beautiful women in white clothes, who help them set up the instruments, and the band's clothes and instruments are also white.
