Star Wars fans watching the Obi-Wan Kenobi series may have noticed plenty of references and Easter eggs throughout the series, one of which brought an iconic video game character into the franchise's current canon. While some references made throughout the show simply created more continuity for certain pre-existing characters, others tied in Legends characters that hadn't yet been brought back into the fold by Disney. For fans of the video games set in the Star Wars universe, this could lead to the reintroduction of a beloved Jedi. In the third episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi , the titular character finds himself in a safe house that had previously been used by many of Star Wars ' other Jedi survivors as they attempted to escape from the clutches of the Empire. While there, Obi-Wan examines several messages that have been inscribed on the walls, presumably by previous tenants. He mentions Quinlan Vos by name, but many other etchings can be seen around the room. The writings are in Aurebesh, Star Wars ' most common writing system, so most viewers wouldn't be able to read them at a glance, but Star Wars ' official trivia gallery confirmed the identities of many of the names. Among the characters mentioned, perhaps most exciting is the inclusion of Rahm Kota, the iconic Jedi Master. In the wake of his introduction, Rahm Kota quickly became one of Star Wars Legends' most iconic video game characters , and went on to appear in several other titles that expanded on his character and backstory, weaving him into the fabric of the original and prequel trilogies, and truly setting him apart as a Jedi. Unfortunately, when Disney reset the Star Wars canon, Kota faded from the limelight along with many other beloved characters and stories. Now, however, Kota is confirmed to exist, even if in name only, in Star Wars' new canon, and could potentially return in the future. After being confronted, and subsequently blinded, by Galen Marek, he would eventually take his attacker on as his apprentice.
The native Kaminoans healed Grey but took a genetic sample from him [6] without his knowledge or consent. While Rahm Kota was introduced in the time of the Galactic Civil War, rahm kota, he has a far more expansive history.
The Jedi has 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. There are swivel joints in both underarms, the waist and both legs. There are no balancing issues, but if you prefer to place the figure on a stand you can use the one which Hasbro included. Besides a stand, Hasbro included a green lightsaber, a removable bandolier with holster on the back, 2 removable soft goods capes and a removable chest armor with the figure. Kota can hold the lightsaber with both hands tightly, and it's also a good fit for the holster on the back. However, why a Jedi Master would carry an ignited lightsaber like this on his back is anybody's guess. The bandolier and the chest armor fit both well and compliment the figure nicely.
Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture. This green-bladed lightsaber was the chosen weapon of Jedi Master Rahm Kota , and was a heavy-duty model that saw frequent use. During the Dark Times, the Jedi General wielded this lightsaber during his personal insurrection against the Galactic Empire. Starkiller blinded Kota with his own weapon, and though the Jedi escaped, Starkiller turned it over to Darth Vader. Darth Vader later gave the lightsaber to Starkiller to replace his original weapon after its loss. Masquerading as a Rebel, Starkiller wielded the lightsaber against various Imperial agents while assembling the Rebel Alliance and modified it to suit his own needs. After Starkiller was betrayed by Darth Vader, he wielded the lightsaber against his former master and bested him. Starkiller perished in a subsequent confrontation with Galactic Emperor Palpatine , and Vader destroyed the lightsaber.

Despite Starkiller's origins, Kota trusted him implicitly, noting that he knew both the best and the worst that the apprentice had done, and that he was willing to take his chances supporting him. In return, he revealed to Organa that he could not contact Kazdan Paratus on Raxus Prime and feared the worst. Kota began striking at Imperial targets, taking interest in the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader and hoping to draw him into a confrontation. Guided by the Force, he proceeded to get to the top of the cloning spire, where Vader was holding Eclipse. As there is nothing to suggest that the level is non-canon, unlike the Tatooine and Hoth levels, this article assumes it is part of the "proper" storyline. Kota told her not to worry, as they were all fugitives. Starkiller, despite hating Vader and having believed that the Dark Lord had killed Eclipse during their duel, relented and spared his life.
