Once a week I diligently paint them but have never actually gone and had my nails professionally done, even though I have admired the lovely finish you get from gel polish. Keeping them polished is a priority for me as my day job is very unkind to nails and if I have them bare, they break way too easily. And when it comes to removal, who needs nail polish remover when you can just peel them off in seconds? It was around the Day 4 mark that the first signs of chipping showed for me. They claim that the stickers can last up to 10 days, but I took them off after 6 because I wanted to try a new nail polish — yes, I have massive first world problems.

This is where nail wraps and stickers come in. From classic solids and French tip styles to more unique, Instagram-worthy designs, the options for nail wraps are virtually endless. Add in nail decorations like stickers, gemstones, and decals, and you're able to give yourself a completely custom look without the tedious work and dry time. In This Article 01 Are nail wraps better than nail polish? The main difference—and reason to choose one over the other—is that polish often has a lot more plain color options to choose from, whereas nail wraps are more design or nail art-focused.

These temporary peel-and-stick solutions are ideal for short to medium-length nails and, if applied properly, can last longer than regular nail polish. Think of nail wraps as a less high-maintenance version of press-on nails ; if you've ever experienced the low-key trauma of showing up to your destination with a missing press-on, you'll take comfort in knowing that wraps offer more security, especially when doing things like digging in your purse for lip oil or styling your hair. You can literally pop them on while you're watching TV or stuck in traffic in the back of an Uber. Nail wraps, on the other hand, resemble stickers, but most are made out of actual gel nail polish.
