Just had an offer accepted on a house and are going with PPL, as recommended by our mortgage broker. We like the way everything is online and hope that the purchase is going to be straightforward. I have now read a lot of mixed reviews on the internet which have made me rethink our decision. So my question is has anyone used them recently? Pls give me your experiences, positive and negative! I have no personal experience but you are usually better to use a high street firm than a call centre type operation where you rarely get to speak with a qualified lawyer and deal instead with a series of call centre operators with limited qualifications - you get what you pay for when it comes to professional services! My experience is that using an "online" conveyancer is easier, cheaper and far less hassle than a high street firm. You always get to speak to someone who knows about your case, rather than having to phone again and again until the person dealing with your case is available. Everything happens over the phone, via email or post so you don't have to find time to go to their offices. Don't kid yourself that a high street firm will use highly qualified solicitors, or if they do they'll be any better than a conveyancer that does house sales and purchases all day, every day.

This was a complete breach of contract and you are legally not allowed to exchange without the relevant checks being cleared beforehand. Check their Twitter page. Impossible to speak to your named conceyancer.

In the spring of I purchased my first home, and I did so using the services of Premier Property Lawyers. Selecting a conveyancer can be an intimidating part of buying your home. Where do you even start? What sort of service can you really expect? Hopefully my impartial Premier Property Lawyers review will be of interest to anyone looking for a UK conveyancer — and especially those who are already considering working with PPL. While I would expect selling a home with them to be similar there are likely to be some differences]. Premier Property Lawyers claims to be one of the largest conveyancing firms in the UK.

We are really angry with this crappy company. I am not sure how PPL get 4 stars from the reviewer? They dont even respond to my emails anymore. OP posts: See next See all. But if I insisted to push it , my solicitor will ring back. Meanwhile we are paying for storage as we have moved out and the cost and stress of staying in holidays. As a result I was constantly being sent emails asking me to select a date while a technical glitch made this impossible! They have started the process in 14th of October last year. I used them about a year ago. It was Premier Property Lawyers dressed up under a different name. If you have too much work employ more people. As a formal complaint has been made, we have to wait for between 28 days and 8 weeks for a response, before we can go to the Ombudsman. What a mistake. Do your own conveyancing. Do your research and only use them at your peril????

.

From the outset, they were virtually impossible to reach and rarely returned calls. But he chose to completely ignore us and hide behind a protracted complaints process and so we have decided to share our experience here. They continually request details that have been provided multiple times and take down negative reviews on trust pilot if they are not acting for the reviewer What is the name of your conveyor? But beyond this I experienced repeated requests for the same information, erroneous requests for information from the seller that was later decided to be unnecessary, lack of response to emails and no availability on the phone, total lack of urgency a no-chain transaction taking 4 months. Why purple Bricks recommend them is beyond me. If paying customers have had bad service, it is a statement of fact and I can see no other reason for anyone else to be at odds with their opinions. Today we received the dreaded email from our sellers that they're pulling out if nothing happens in the next week. Still waiting 6 months on for responses to simple questions. Wouldn't recommend
