They came together to battle the evil Orgs and prevent them from conquering the world. The Wild Force Rangers are the successors of the ancient Animarian Warriors who fought against the original Master Org and his forces years before the present day. During that battle, one of the warriors, Merrick Baliton , used the power of the evil Wolf Mask to defeat Master Org after the defeat of Animus , the master of the Wild Zords. Merrick succeeded, but was cursed and became the Duke Org Zen-Aku. As such, his fellow warriors imprisoned him to prevent him from causing harm to any of his former allies.
