I've been using PkHex for a while for my gen 3 games but I've decided I wanna transfer a few legal mons to a 3ds I'm getting soon, pkhex qr. I've seen ways if transferring them via the pkhex qr codes and was wondering if they pkhex qr work?

The charizard qr code is out in the wild and this is huge because until now Charizard was a bank only pokemon. However this code is japan exclusive so NA 3ds won't be able to use this code. I just found this on the pokemon reddit.

I haven't really used pkhex since gen 6, so I'm not sure if the method changed for the current version or if it was removed altogether. I see where you can still generate QRs for pokemon, but I'm not sure how to place pokemon already generated by QR into boxes.
