Ping g15
If the G10 provides maximum forgiveness then what do you call an iron that provides even more forgiveness? Ping g15 calls it the G
The Ping G15 Irons are certainly a case of evolution not revolution and Ping have not forgotten the traits that made the G10 irons so appealing to so many people. We liked the G10 irons and we were hopeful that the G15 irons would be even better. In our tests the G15 irons were a delight to hit. They were very forgiving right across the face and the full cavity graphics badge did its job in enhancing the feel and sound of the club at impact. For mid to high handicappers these clubs are ideal and are available in sets from 3 iron through to sand wedge.

And that love continued in the hands of our test team who raved about the mix of power, forgiveness and feel. The G15 features a seven per cent larger face than the 10 model and this, coupled with the External Sole Weight Pad, means it is more forgiving than before as well as also being lower-spinning — so even better players can take advantage. Leon preferred the looks of the i15 but admitted that was no reason not to put this one in the bag, commenting particularly on the solid feel and forgiveness while John returned one of his best dispersion ratings with no compromise on distance — exactly what a player of his handicap is looking for. Undoubtedly a worthy winner to round off a Ping first and second! Ratings out of 5 : Looks : 4. An external weight pad at the back of the club helps to move the centre of gravity lower and further away from the face, meaning a powerful launch. Overall the G15 offers simplicity, power and style from one of the truly great brands. There are some great deals to be had on this driver too. I used this driver when travelling in rental sets and found it so forgiving and straight I bought TWO and have them in my Holiday and home bag. You don't need all the angle and loft changing circus , get yourself a At a glance TG Rating 4. What we say
Has anyone bought new Pings on the Internet? Glare was also ping g15 reduced which is something I was not expecting to notice as much. Only my 3rd round of golf in two years, these irons just blew my mind!
Every year it seems like one company after another hypes up the release of their new driver yet to the point almost no one even listens anymore. Because every year so many of them fall short of their promises and claims. Of course every company is going to try and hype their product…we get it…that is what sells clubs. But we are out to have the most informed golf blog on the planet. So…if it is good we will tell you it is good and if it is bad we will tell you just how bad it really is. And that brings us to our Ping G15 review today…and is another reason why I talked about hype.
If the G10 provides maximum forgiveness then what do you call an iron that provides even more forgiveness? PING calls it the G For me, I imagine the silky smooth feel of the sweet spot. I visualize the ball curving through the air at will. I can almost see the ball falling to the green with just enough spin to bounce twice and then stop. They might look down desperately searching for that microscopic sweet spot, trembling at the thought of the painful reverberations of a mis-hit.

Technology The previously mentioned sole is instrumental in helping get the ball in the air quickly as it disperses the MOI evenly across the bottom of the club. Very forgiving with high launches. I had been using my G10 hybrids with a lot of success and only time will tell which club set I will keep in the bag. For example, what if the Titleist D2 came in 12th out of 15th. These are very consistent clubs but because of the design take some time to get used to. The color, along with the flat, uncluttered sole left me very happy with the overall appearance of the club and should please most traditional players. Can you get this grip from other vendors who sell Ping? The Aldila Serrano was a nice surprise. Feel free to add any suggestions. We also reviewed the new g15 and i15 hybrids as well. I play Mizuno irons very well but struggle with the driver. I love them. Then hit a

But these are serious clubs for golfers who are hell-bent on getting better and are yet another example of how Ping are continuing to get it right in the irons market. If you can look past the wider sole and put aside your personal ego of playing with wider sole club, these are awesome. I've never drawn the ball from a long right, then draw back at the flag. If we stayed in the fairways instead of the rough, our scores would drop like a lead weight. These additional wedges are available at most retailers and Ping Authorized Dealers. Black dot is a standard lie,red dot is a flatter lie. I have been playing Titleist DCI blacks for about 9 years I am a handicap and decided to look at new irons. I suspect you all know this too. I was pretty satisfied with myself when I literally hit almost every club in my bag three to five yards farther with the G15 than the G Obviously, the G15s do not have the silky smooth feeling of a forged blade but I did find that they have a softer, crisper sound and feel.
