The Piklopedia is an in-game list of all the plants and creatures in Pikmin 2Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Pikmin 4 that you have come in contact with throughout your piklopedia. When using Piklopedia, the scenery will change depending on what region The Ship is hovering on in the area selection screen. Pikpik Carrots can also be thrown at enemies to see their piklopedia, and Ultra-Bitter Spray can also be used on the non-plant creatures the in-game spray count will not change. It is the counterpart to the Treasure Hoardwhich shares the same music as piklopedia Piklopedia.

Selecting the slot of a creature that has not been seen yet will just produce static on the main "screen", and their grid slots will show their Piklopedia number, instead of their icon. The Piklopedia is an in-game encyclopedia that stores information about all the enemies found in Pikmin 2 and any hack based on said game. Depending on what area the ship is flying over, the area in the Piklopedia will change to that respective area. Pressing R or L will take the player to the counterpart menu, the Treasure Hoard. For each enemy, there are new observations from Olimar , and more cooking tips from Captain Louie. Unlike Olimar, Louie is slightly lankier, his nose is rounder and slightly smaller, and his head is pear-shaped. Louie is known to have a very ravenous appetite. Louie is known to be very quiet and apathetic towards efforts he does not value. He does not care about anybody but his grandmother, not even his job — he will often abandon ship and attempt to live on PNF forever, or tamper with valuable delivery cargo.
