Everyone info.
Open-ended game-like simulations with an intuitive interface and minimal text appropriate for a variety of class settings. Includes expert visual models that make the invisible visible and provide multiple representations, enabling scientist-like exploration and real-world connections. They are free and easy to incorporate into nearly any teaching environment or style. They are based on research into how students learn, student understanding of specific science concepts, and user interface design. Effective use of PhET simulations can lead to improved conceptual learning. Why not?

Engage in learning science and math with the award-winning PhET simulations! Whether understanding atoms, exploring energy, or mastering multiplication, there is a sim for every learner. In addition, although we are currently working on improving the accessibility of our sims, most of the sims included in this app do not include keyboard navigation or screen reader access. As accessible sims become available, they will be updated within the app. Proceeds from the app support the development of more HTML5 sims. On behalf of the PhET team and the students whose lives you have helped improve — Thank you! Added support for viewing sims in portrait orientation Bug fixes to simulation update logic. This app is definitely one of the coolest and more intuitive I have used. This app is perfect to effectively and efficiently get an idea across. I am a native French speaker, and this app allows you to learn in different languages; definitely one of my favorite features. The app is also perfect for brushing up on stuff I have not seen in a while or for learning new material fast and easily. I am a visual learner and the simulation environment allows me to easily digest the material I am learning. I guess a picture is always better than a thousand words. I am able to quickly gain insight into a new field without having to do extensive literature reviews.
Conduct a simulative field study on evolution and phet selection. I suddenly have to move my lab course online! LeMaster, and C, phet.
Tools and Settings. Questions and Tasks. PhET simulations are interactive simulations of science and math concepts created by the University of Colorado Boulder. Students are able to run these simulations, manipulating different aspects of a construct to understand science and mathematics concepts. Depending on the simulation, students may also be able to collect, graph, and analyze data to draw conclusions of their own. PhET simulations are especially useful for creating visual representations of hard to grasp concepts in science and math while making them engaging through student manipulation. PhET simulations are easy to access and free to use by anyone with a device and an Internet connection.

PhET is the place to go for science and math simulations, both for teachers and students. Aimed at grades , this is a vast STEM knowledge base that can be dipped into and used for free as an online alternative to real-world experiments. The high-quality simulations are plentiful in number, at more than , and cover a range of subjects so there should be something to suit most topics. As such, this is a great alternative for getting simulation experiences to students when not available in the classroom, ideal for remote learning or homework. PhET is a digital space that holds more than online-based science and math simulations. These are interactive so students can take part as they might in a real-world experiment. This works for as young as kindergarten and runs up to graduate level. STEM subjects covered are physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, and math.
