It was her birthday at the end of April and to celebrate I gave her a few knick knacks but for the big treat I spoilt her with a spa day with me at the Cayenne Spa located at The Pepperclub Hotel in the centre of Cape Town. Our spa treatment took place in the couples treatment room on the 8th floor of the 5-star Pepperclub Hotel. It began with a chocolate body polishing treatment where we were scrubbed down with a sugar scrub that smelt like dark chocolate. After a quick shower in the room, this was followed by a chocolate fondue body wrap where our whole bodies were covered in a slippery chocolate spread not Nutella! The time flew by! Finally it was time for my ultimate spa treat… a full body massage! And this was a chocoholic treat. After resurfacing after our 2-hour indulgence we headed back up to the roof-top pool area to enjoy a little bit of chill out time before heading back to our mom duties. As it was her birthday we were spoilt with chocolate dipped strawberries and a smoothie while we chatted and enjoyed the incredible views of Table Mountain. The Chocolate Sensation treatment costs R per person or R 1 Cayenne Spa regularly hosts tailored spa packages and facilities include a sauna which is available for guests to use before or after their treatments.
