Pathfinder class skills
Most tasks outside of pathfinder class skills are accomplished using skills. A Trained skill is a skill in which the creature has at least one skill rank. This indicates that the creature has taken some time to practice or learn the skill. Some skills can be used untrained Climb, Jump, Swimbut some skills require training to be used Knowledge skills.
Are there other ways to gain Class Skills whether through feats, archetypes, racial traits, etc. Skill Mastery doesn't add to your list of class skills; it allows you to Take 10 on a limited number of skill checks. There are, however, rogue talents that allow you to gain a limited number of extra class skills. If multiclassing is crossed off for you, then the only real way to add more class skills to your list is via character traits. You gain two character traits at 1st level, plus a third if you select a drawback via Ultimate Campaign. If you are playing in Pathfinder Society, however, drawbacks may not be available to you. I don't recall seeing them on the Additional Resources list.
Pathfinder class skills
Skills represent a creature's ability to perform an ordinary task, such as climb a wall, sneak down a hallway, or spot an intruder. The number of ranks possessed by a creature in a given skill represents its proficiency in that skill. Each skill has an associated ability score. The associated ability score modifier is added to all skill checks. Each class has a number of favored skills, called class skills. It is easier for your character to become more proficient in these skills, as they represent part of his professional training and constant practice. If you have more than one class and both grant you a class skill bonus, these bonuses do not stack. Some backgrounds also turn certain skills into class skills and as such add more flexibility to character building. Sorcerers gain an additional class skill from their bloodline. Kineticists gain one or two additional class skills from their elemental focus. Possessed Shaman Shaman gets Shared Skill and Wandering Skill mechanics which allow her to apply Wisdom modifier to skills of her choosing.
