After going through some water my check engine light came on. I didn't pay any attention until I got out on the freeway and realized the tranny was stuck in 2nd gear. When I got home I ran the codes and it showed p which means I have a solenoid switch valve sticking. After doing some research I've realized this is inside of the valve body. Before ordering a valve body I'm just wanting to make sure it will fix it. I've already changed out the fluid and filter. If I clear the code out I can drive a few miles up the road with it acting perfect shifting all the way into overdrive. Then all of a sudden seems like when I'm on a small incline it downshifts into second and stays there unless I turn the key on and off. I've unplugged several connections just and cleaned. What else do I have to do?
