King Clawthorne is the tritagonist of The Owl House. He is a young titan who is Eda's sidekick, later adoptive son, [4] and Luz 's best friend. Initially, he sought to restore his supposed title and glory as the "King of Demons ", before he switched to trying to discover his family and reunite with them. However, it is later discovered that he is actually the last of the titans, [5] and the son of the Titan , whose remains form the Boiling Isles. King's current goal is to protect those he cares about, namely from Emperor Belos and the Collector , the latter of whom aspires to acquire King's friendship by any means necessary. During the Day of Unity , King reluctantly agrees to release the Collector in order to save the Isles' denizens from the Draining Spell.

However, due to being so cute and small, he gets the opposite reaction towards people. Instead of fearing him they adore him with a lot of unwanted affection which annoys him. They never pay attention to his threats. Even though he is not a baby or a pet, King seems to live like both. He relies on accessories meant for babies, such as high chairs and carriers.

He and Eda agree to have Luz retrieve his crown from the Confromitorium, a place where they take misfits and incarcerate them. On occasion, King puts into question Eda's methods and ethics.
