It's available on Steam and itch. This puzzle appears in the Factory in the Refuge, and is a variant of the game Mastermind. You have 5 lights that you can toggle to either orange, blue, green or red. There's a correct pattern of 5 colors that you're supposed to guess. After you set each light, you can pull a lever, and it will tell you how many lights you got correct. You get 10 attempts before the puzzle resets itself.

I've lined up the sheet on the clover and only filled in those squares, but nothing is happening. I can only assume that I'm doing something incorrectly, but I'm stumped and have no idea what I am doing wrong. Last edited by SalsaCondor ; 10 Dec, pm. Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments.
Moreover, since c4 is in the second partition, oneshot light puzzle, it's definitely not in the first since there's only one c4. You will need to double back one more time to knock out the lighted square, fill in two more, and then fill the last one.

Depending on the pattern, it can be quite easy or fairly tricky to guess the right pattern. I recently revisited this after watching a friend play OneShot to see if I can come up with something better.

I recently revisited this after watching a friend play OneShot to see if I can come up with something better. Human logic solver. The first thing I do is to determine how many of each color there are. Max entropy solver. The logic is exactly the same. You have 3 attempts ignoring the trywithknown2 step left to find where they are, which should be easy. It takes 7. Since we know it has to be in the last 3 spots, we can just try [c4, c4, c1, c4, c4] and [c4, c4, c4, c1, c4] , and if it's not in either of those places we know it has to be in the last spot. My solution is a bit convoluted and it doesn't have to be. Here's an example:. RED], 0 correct. BLUE , gcount, Color. We've used 5 queries so far, so we use another 2 to find where c4 is fix the first two spots as one c3 and one c4 such that you know there's exactly 1 match in the first partition, then vary the last three spots like [c4, c3, c3] and [c3, c4, c3]. We have 4 tries left, but we know the entire first partition. We only changed the last light, but the number of correct lights didn't change.
The Lamplighter Plight for short in file names is the maintenance worker of Refuge. He is mainly tasked to replace the red phosphor found in Refuge's lights.
Per page: 15 30 RED, Color. After you pin down c1 s, use trywithknown2. This didn't work very well, and sometimes needed 12 tries to fully solve a puzzle. If so, it should match what is now your desktop image if you found a computer in another room in the ruins. I need help with this too : edit: two squares were lit that shouldn't have been. We can use the exact same method just with c2 and c3 flipped to find the solution. This is a bit of a brainmeld, but we'll get through this last case between us and victory. Commented tha' solution for ya'. Since we know it has to be in the last 3 spots, we can just try [c4, c4, c1, c4, c4] and [c4, c4, c4, c1, c4] , and if it's not in either of those places we know it has to be in the last spot. Case: [c3, c3, c4, c4, c4] says 2 right. I doubt that made any sense. First type: all red. The problem.
It is remarkable, it is an amusing piece
