In response to this, Crunky would commission the Time Engineer to make the legendary weapon known as the Omniblade. Unfortunately for Zek, by the time the Omniblade was finished Ifrit would lead the campaign to protect the Primordials. Zek was simply not powerful enough to defeat Ifrit, even when wielding the Omniblade, so Crunky created Z'or'aq'ith to wield the omniblade and defeat Ifrit and kill the Beast Primordial. The Beast Primordial could not be killed, though, instead its seven severed heads became what is now known as the Divine Beasts. Zek then returned to his duty and used the omniblade to kill all but 9 Primordials.
