By madmanmoon12 May 10, in Going out in Sheffield. Something bugging me, can anyone help by remembering the name of a night club where the current burnout ex Envy club is in Rotherham on Corporation St? Opposite the bingo hall. Hadleys was the venue where Envy was before it became the place for the next Attenborough documentary with all the wildlife in it. Cheers I don't remember that one but just remembered, it was called Fusion but that could have been the night event rather than the club but it was definitely called that. It was built post war and was a really popular pub in the '70s and '80s. Feoffes wasn't opened as a pub until ' Hi cleanup Feoffes was originally a charity establishment of some kind in Victorian times. I worked for Veres Nuloaf in the 70s,they used it as a garage for the breadvans,we put all the bad starters on the steep slope in its yard to bump start them on a morning. It was turned into a pub in the 80s. I think it used to be a school originally! Belvedere was ok to call in for a quick couple of pints on the way to somewhere. I can remember spending one evening in there during a power cut when it was one of few pubs in area to have hand pumps. Must have been in early 80s as I remember we were drinking Whitbread Queens Ale which was a lovely pint but not brewed for very long.

Anyway here's the link the the whole album, it's really worth going through and a load of pictures gave me an unparalleled feeling of comfortable nostalgia. Those were the days Great uploads - I love stuff like this. I would rather someone tell me it was a photoshop and that Aldi was built in , cos I can remember thinking "Flippin Aldi! I can't have been that much of a judgemental snob when I was 7, especially since I was the child of a woman from Dalton and a man from Kimmy park. Plus I shop at Aldi now almost exclusively. My mates dad owned this if I remember correctly.

Em Dykes : Lovely staff great venue. Terrible music and drinks that don't have any kick. Close I accept. Business: The Riverside pub restaurant in Rotherham offers a fantastic, family-friendly environment with a great value selection of delicious pub food classics and refreshing beers and ciders. Liam Sunderland : Shocking place. Guest makapaka. Something bugging me, can anyone help by remembering the name of a night club where the current burnout ex Envy club is in Rotherham on Corporation St? I got up started making my way to the exit to have my drink snatched outta my hand and thrown, to then be grabbed, pushed and dragged outta the building. Ray Moss : Great venue. Craig Wilkins : The room was clean and tidy, standard room items, plenty of tea and coffee. It was stated on facebook that there was heating, but I could only see a couple of domestic fan heaters and what looked like something to dry the place out.
