The National National evaluation series Series NES is a rigorous testing program created by Pearson Education Group that entry-level teachers must undergo in order to become professionally certified educators. The tests administered by NES are designed to assess your knowledge of your subject of choice, your ability to apply that knowledge to teaching a wide range of children with diverse needs, handmade kandil your mastery of classroom management, national evaluation series.

Educator preparation faculty are not eligible to participate in the pilot test. Please do NOT sign up for the pilot test if you do not intend to seek certification in this field or did not receive your certification in this field in the last 3 years. Eligible participants may receive an incentive for up to two 2 forms for one 1 field per testing period. Additional incentive requests will not be fulfilled. The second registration can only be scheduled after the first pilot test session is completed consecutive pilot test appointments are not available. Pilot test results will be analyzed as group data only and will be kept confidential. Score information will not be provided to participants or any entity. Test vouchers are transferable and expire 1 year from the date of issue. Your incentive will be sent to your email address within 6 weeks of participation. You will not receive a score for this pilot test nor will it be counted toward your certification. You may choose only one 1 incentive per pilot test session and may take up to two 2 pilot test forms. You may only take pilot tests in one 1 of the fields offered.

If the assessment that you took included constructed-response questions, there will not be an unofficial score available to you after the test.

The NES teacher certification tests are comprehensive exams aligned to profession-accepted national learning standards, covering areas such as essential academic skills, reading instruction, and commonly taught elementary, middle, and secondary grade-level subjects. A computer-based test design means access to tests by appointment, year round—examinees do not have to wait for an assigned date before testing in a specific field—and immediate score reporting for most results. The ECO is intended to provide individuals who have the requisite knowledge and experience the opportunity to challenge the coursework portion of a Multiple or Single Subject Internship Program through a content assessment and to challenge the fieldwork component of a Multiple or Single Subject Internship program by demonstrating pedagogical skills through a performance assessment while in a Commission-approved internship program. Passage of the statutory testing requirement within the ECO option through the NES Assessment of Professional Knowledge APK allows individuals to demonstrate their knowledge of basic teaching education foundations in order to challenge the required education courses in an internship teacher preparation program.
