What, really? Obviously, I was wrong on that. What a shame, being quirkless would have been such a great thing to bond over with both Toshinori and Izuku. Ah well, being able to tell if someone tells the truth is a pretty cool quirk. Do you happen to have a link to that statement from Horikoshi? As a member of the Police Force, he is normally seen in his uniform, which consists of his signature tan overcoat and matching hat, underneath which he wears a black suit, a green tie at his neck with matching slacks, and dress shoes. Following the Paranormal Liberation War , Naomasa has grown out a light goatee and he has developed eye bags, likely from a lack of sleep and rest. He has also been shown wearing armoured police gear. Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi is an earnest, hardworking individual who has earned the right to be a close friend of All Might , enough so that he was even entrusted with the truth about One For All and the former's true form. As a detective working with the law, Naomasa is strict and does not approve of vigilantism , which despite having heroic intentions, is still illegal and therefore makes them " Villains ". However, despite vigilantism being illegal, he is shown to be grateful for The Crawler helping to protect the Tokyo Sky Egg from the Bomber villains. After accidentally learning about his weakened state, one of a very small amount of people who did at the time, he develops a close relationship with All Might, becoming a confidant they could provide for each other. He is shown to take his job and the law seriously, to the point that he helps All Might with the required paperwork upon his numerous hero accomplishments. He is also hesitant with requesting All Might for help, believing that to be taking advantage of his personal contacts and be potentially compromising in the future. However, he does decide to go against police procedure to let All Might rescue the thousands, including his sister, at the Tokyo Sky Egg. Naomasa also cares a lot for his sister, Makoto , as shown when he desperately cried for help to All Might to rescue her.

Naomasa Tsukauchi is the eldest son of the Tsukauchi family. After his little sister, Makoto Tsukauchi , manifested her Polygraph Quirk for the first time, she kept asking Naomasa sometimes uncomfortable questions, to know if he was telling the truth or not. This bothered Naomasa and asked her sister to stop, although their mother asked him to just humor her. Years later, he joined the Police Force and became a detective. All these incidents are related to the use of the drug called Trigger , that boost an individual's Quirk, but turned into a villain instantly.

Generally, Naomasa has a good relationship with his younger sister, but their different personalities often cause friction between them. He very much adheres to follow the laws and proper procedures, while Makoto is more rebellious and much more predisposed to challenge the rules and authority. It does not help that Makoto knows the Naruhata Vigilantes personally, whom Naomasa does not consider much better than the criminals, or the fact that she often asks him about any villains or hero information he has learned of, to which he replies that he cannot leak any confidential information that the police have. Despite this, Naomasa cares for his sister's wellbeing, and often warns her not to approach into any danger. Naomasa is a good friend of All Might and one of the few people that knows about the hero's condition and his true identity as Toshinori Yagi, though he only found that out as a complete accident.

Naomasa is possibly quirkless as he never displays any time of super human power though his sister Makoto Tsukauchi does have a quirk, so it's possible he has one and simply does not use it.
