I've seen a bunch of people getting those huge mushrooms growing on their farms and figured It'd just happen on my farm sooner or later But now I'm on my third save file, with a total of six years between all of them and I've yet to see a big mushroom grow. Any tips for increasing the likelihood of it happening? If i dont cut one down, more mushroom trees will start growing around it.

What is this? How close together can they grow and how much space has to be cleared around them? It sounds like they spread like other trees and have a similar appearance to regular trees before maturing leafy green but with a different shape.
