There is limited parking available on the vacant block opposite the Mt Barker High School oval on Flaxley Road weather permitting for a gold coin donation which goes to the SES who will be running this area. Arrive early to secure a great spot to watch the show and take advantage of the range of family fun activities available:. In addition there will be a wide range of food and drink vans to suit all budgets and tastes! This year we have over a dozen fabulous local artists performing contemporary Christmas songs as well as leading you in singing much-loved Carols with a modern twist and all backed by the Carols Big Band!

The success of the Pageant relies heavily on members of the general public joining in. School, sporting, community and business groups, as well as individuals, are invited to take part. The Mt Barker Christmas Festival Committee, made up of a group of dedicated volunteers and always looking for more! We are proud to say we have been doing that for 40 years. Please go to the Sponsorship page for the full details. Note — Float Sponsorship is open to any organisation. Individuals can also take part by riding on one of the available Committee floats.

October 15, This year is the pageants 30th birthday and community organisations, schools, pre-schools and businesses are invited to take part in the biggest and best pageant yet. After the pageant parade down Mt Barker Road from Druids Avenue to the Stirling Oval, the Fair and Market will provide an afternoon of live music, family activities, sideshows, animal nursery, food stalls and many market stalls. The parade attracts community groups and businesses from the Adelaide Hills area who create amazing colourful floats and entertain the crowd. Take along a picnic basket or purchase from the many stalls on the oval.
