There are no artificial additives or improvers with gluten, dairy, sugar and nut free as well as vegan and low sugar choices too. Our team of bakers and pastry chefs handcraft these delights at our local Freshwater bakery using traditional and modern methods based on learned techniques and hard work — with no corners cut and each item created from scratch. Sourced locally, our coffee is from Roseberry Street Roasters who genuinely care about the globe and wherever possible, source sustainable or organic beans for their roasts. Our blend of expresso is clean, sweet and easy to drink and brings out the floral and fruit notes. Lucy also led a team of seven chefs at the Bathers Pavilion in Balmoral. Born above a bakery in North Wales, Barry worked in the family business from the age of 14 after studying bakery, cake decoration and confectionery for three years. Owned and run by Barry and Lucy Jones, everything is carefully crafted in house using techniques learned around the world, honed in cities like London, New York, Paris and Sydney, to spoil northern Sydney locals. With just a peek inside, those willing to forget their diet are met with the likes of raspberry jam custard doughnuts, banana and caramel brownies, creamy gelato and much more. But, I recommend you allow some time. The hardest decision is what to get. We grabbed a seat at the bench and had the first of several selections with a cuppa, my almond croissant was soo good and went perfectly with the great coffee. Thanks Lucy and Barry.
