For those wishing to stick around a little longer, we provide an excellent base for exploring everything that southern Scotland has to offer. Tom and Sindy have spent the last 3 years living in Dumfries and Galloway after spending the previous 10 years living and working in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Southern Africa. We have tried to create a hostel that reflects some of our international experiences, whist providing a friendly Scottish welcome! Railway Station - Our nearest railway station is the mainline station at Lockerbie which is 15 miles south of Moffat. From Lockerbie the regular minibus travels directly to Moffat, and passes right by the hostel front door! The X74 bus connects Glasgow and Moffat and takes approximately 90 minutes.
