So what happens now is I can see lights like lampposts through walls and from pretty far away too and its very distracting and its now persisting through the next missions and old missions. I thought maybe the newest patch caused this but I'm not sure because I could've just not noticed it at first since there's not many night missions. It also doesn't seem like it affects multiplayer. I noticed the bug starting on the mission prior to Alone, "Dark Water" but only after you take the boat from the oil rig to the ship to access the missile controls. I also just tried CasualSquirtle's fix and it got rid of the lighting bug but now some parts of the map will not load in.

After a while of bug free gameplay I died and upon restart noticed lights kept appearing through walls and honestly were very obstructive of my vision. Monologue aside here is the fix I got to work.
