Mistwood ruins

Just southwest of the Map Stelle, you'll soon find the Mistwood Ruins hidden among the trees and vegetation.

Concealed by the thriving growth of vegetation, these ruins are kept out of sight by the veil of nature itself. But there's more to it than what you see. Mistwood Ruins is a Location in Elden Ring. The remnants look shattered and forgotten and feature an underground cellar. You can discover the path to Mistwood Ruins by interacting with an antique spectral tree located south of Third Church of Marika , alongside the main road. Upon examination, grace will manifest as a golden human spirit that will wander without a clear destination.

Around the ruins, the player will find a number of things that will be useful for their journey outside the first area, as well as an incredibly important NPC. Mistwood is one of the smaller subsections of Limgrave located in the east, close to Caelid. The Mistwood Ruins are relatively easy to find, the Tarnished simply have to follow the main road in the center of the Mistwood until they hear a wolf howling. The player should be able to see the ruins with minimal effort at this point. However, if the player still cannot find the ruins, they can go to the Third Church of Marika and interact with a spectral tree. Upon doing this a golden spirit will manifest and lead the player to the ruins. The Tarnished will have to watch out for Runebears that are either sleeping or moving around in the area. These enemies will not be too much of an issue to veteran players, but low-level Tarnished will be killed almost instantly by their attacks. As for trivia, data miners have found cut content for the game that suggests that the player would have to lure one of the Runebears to destroy the tower so Blaidd would come down to talk. But for obvious reasons, this idea was quickly abandoned. Once the player has heard the howling in the Mistwood Ruins , they will need to return to the Church of Elleh and talk to the Merchant Kale to progress this quest. Kale will give the Tarnished the Finger Snap Gesture.

Mistwood Ruins are in East Limgrave. This area is slightly more dangerous than West Limgrave, but still part of the general starting area. The Ruins are in a wooded area, close to the path through the trees. The path goes between the Third Church of Marika site of grace and the Fort Haight West site of grace, so you may want to start at one of those points. Be wary of bears to the north and Undead Soldiers to the south. Within the ruins is an underground area with a chest.

East Limgrave is the smallest sub-region of Limgrave in Elden Ring. This page includes an overview of the area, including all main dungeons, bosses, loot, and secrets to find in this region. As a sub-region, East Limgrave does not contain a Legacy Dungeon. There are also no small dungeons in the region. To reveal the details and topography of the whole Limgrave region, you'll need to find three Map Fragments at the Steles located in West Limgrave, East Limgrave, and the Weeping Peninsula. Being such a small part of Limgrave, there is only one boss available in the entirety of East Limgrave—the Tibia Mariner in Summonwater Village. As you explore the region of Limgrave, you'll find various friendly or seemingly friendly faces you can find and speak to - and even buy and sell with to obtain unique wares. Though East Limgrave is small, this sub-region contains many points of interests that can move you to other locations in the Lands Between.
