The Minigun is a weapon in Genesis: Part 2. It is a deployable weapon that can be used to rapidly fire at a target. The Minigun requires the survivor to wind it up, and it can overheat from overuse. It also prevents use while on a different ark than the one in which in it was created, for example you cannot craft one on Genesis Part: 2 and transfer it to Scorched Earth. The Minigun can be spun up by pressing Rmb , , without firing, which will increase your rate of fire. It will not cool down until you stop firing and if fired for too long 6 seconds when hand held and 12 when deployed will overheat.

By Melcreif , March 3, in General Discussion. So our base was attacked yesterday and we lost all 4 of our dragons. We also lost a Giga, Spino and a Quetzal. They attacked a side of our base that was least defended and just took out 2 behemoth gates and then went to work killing tames. Our plan is to upgrade the gates to Metal first, but we also have a very tall tower that looks out over the gates. What are your thoughts on the Minigun turret and Rocket turret for the next time this happens while we are online? Minigun on a quetz is a deadly combo. I like it. People still seem to have confusion regarding this. They patched it so that automated turrets can no longer be mounted on platform creatures. Manned turrets are still fair game. I was talking to some folks about this from our Main tribe.

This article is about Minigun, not to be confused with Minigun Turret. Deployable rotary machine gun that needs to be manned to fire at a target. Provides increased firepower after winding up, but consumes bullets quickly while firing. It is a deployable weapon that can be used to rapidly fire at a target. The Minigun requires the survivor to wind it up, and it can overheat from overuse. It cannot be used on a different ARK than the one in which in it was created; for example you cannot craft one on Genesis Part: 2 and transfer it to Scorched Earth.

Melcreif Posted March 7, I agree with many of the comments, however where I find a rocket turret amazing is when you go in to sponge bullets and you don't want to wait to sponge all the bullets and just use the animals to distract the turrets.
