Shoko, disguised as Suzume tries to get the other ninjas to take her to the secret ninja base but eventually Hiro sees that something is wrong. To make up for their mistake, they promise to find Aika's missing tanuki. Its the time of the Tenabata holiday, and everyone gets to make a wish. The ninjas dress up as ghosts to scare Shoko, but Lord Ashida wants Shoko to capture the "ghosts" for him. Will the Ninjas forego their dispute and work as a team to counter Ashida's plan? Can Hiro do it without Fox beside him? Kitsune is unhappy with this and goes to the village to start a farm and live in peace, away from Lord Ashida. The previous year, many of the wishes did not speak well of Lord Ashida so he devises a way to to ruin the Tenabata holiday for everyone. While Hiro and Suzume are out and about, Shoko and her samurais attack them. When they return home, they see that Hiro's spell froze everyone in the camp as well.
