As a couple, with several large suitcases, it was okay for a few nights, we were not able to unpack much so getting ready each day was a challenge. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. It's odd that the shower is in the middle of the room as opposed to being within an enclosed bathroom so each time we showered the room stayed very humid for a good amount of time. Thankfully, the windows do open and you can control the temperature of your room so this wasn't much of an issue. We sleep with eye masks on, so this wasn't an issue, but right above the bed in our room there was a smoke or CO2 detector that flashed a green light all day and all night. If we didn't have our masks, this would have driven us crazy at night. This hotel isn't in the tourist hot spots, but it's near a main road with stores and restaurants. It's a two-minute walk from a metro station and the Madrid subway is affordable and easy to navigate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.
