A spore blossom is a ceiling-hanging decorative block that emits green particles. Spore blossoms can be found only on the ceiling of lush caves. Spore blossoms can be broken instantly with any item or by hand. Harvesting a spore blossom with shears consumes the durability of the shears for no additional benefit. Spore blossoms can be placed only on the underside of any block except leaves. They emit two kinds of particles: one falling straight downwards, disappearing after a certain distance; the other spreading to a large area, floating around in the air, spreading further away as they slowly fall down. The unique blossom emits small green particles from its golden center that either drift slowly towards the ground or float graciously about within a block radius. Unfortunately, as exquisite as they are, the Spore Blossom within the current Minecraft update doesn't feature any innate utility outside of being enchanting ceiling decor. Like any typical flower in Minecraft , Spore Blossoms can be harvested by hitting with a tool or one's bare hands. Spore Blossoms sadly aren't renewable, meaning they can't be farmed elsewhere and only spawn once within their Lush Cave biomes. Players who wish to have a large collection of the blossoms will need to venture into multiple cave systems searching for them. Additionally, Spore Blossoms can only be placed on the bottom side of a solid Minecraft block, including Slabs or the underside of a Stair block. As leaves aren't considered solid, Spore Blossoms cannot be placed beneath them. However, replacing a Leaf Block with a similar-looking Moss Block will allow a blossom to adhere beneath. Lush Caves only spawn beneath the surface of the Overworld but are able to generate at various elevations.
