For years I've been using EZgif. Gifs often come out really pixelated, notably worse than the ones the site was producing just a few months ago. Uploading higher-quality jpegs or PNGs for the individual frames doesn't help; as soon as I click "Generate Image" it'll still load up looking cruddy. There was a time when I could optimize my gifs quite a bit, getting them down to under 4 MGBs without them getting super pixelated, but these days they often look blocky on the first generation. If I tried to optimize them, my poor little bimbos would end up looking like they were made of Legos. My girls need to be soft and round, not blocky!
